Digital X Scholarship Program - Terms and Conditions

The Digital X Scholarship Programme (hereinafter referred to as the “Scholarship”) is a scholarship offered by Blue Hill Capital Pte Ltd (“BHI”). BHI is a philanthropy initiative created by the beneficiaries of a Singapore-based Single Family Office who are keen to pay it forward. BHI believes in giving back to society and has been providing grants to deserving recipients and communities through the years. One of BHI’s growing list of philanthropic initiatives is the setting up of this Scholarship to benefit the local business community.

Through this Scholarship, BHI aims to support passionate local business owners to bring their business to the next level. To that end, BHI will be partnering Zion Global Marketing Pte Ltd (“ZGM”) for the administration of the Digital Marketing Mentorship Programme (“Programme”) to directly benefit local businesses by providing them with the skills and tools they need to succeed.

ZGM is a pioneer in the digital marketing industry and has an established track record as an education and service provider in digital marketing. Since 2011, ZGM has provided digital marketing coaching and mentorship to countless individuals and business owners to build up their digital marketing capabilities. ZGM was recognised as one of Singapore’s most outstanding enterprises in 2013, was a recipient of the Spirit of Enterprise Award in 2018 and named one of Singapore’s Fastest Growing Companies in 2019 by Straits Times & Statista.

IMPORTANT POINTS TO NOTE:

1. ELIGIBILITY

1.1The Scholarship is open to business owners based in Singapore.

1.2 Applicants for the Scholarship (the “Applicants”) should:

a) Be a business owner based in Singapore;

b) Be the owner, founder or controlling shareholder of the business or company and should be principally responsible for the operation of the business. Only one representative from each business should apply;

c)Have a business that:

i. has been operating for at least a year with existing products and/or services. However, we invite applications even if your business is less than a year old if you have a strong business concept or track record;

ii. is sustainable and with viable products and services (preferably in the food and lifestyle sector)

d) Demonstrate tenacity and passion for their business;

e) Be willing to learn and be mentored in digital marketing; and

f) Have a unique skill set or a sustainable product and/or service with potential for growth or with strong consumer demand.

2. SCHOLARSHIP BENEFITS

2.1 Each successful Applicant (“Grantee”) would be given a place in the Programme administered by ZGM and have their Programme fees sponsored by BHI.

2.2 The Programme will comprise the following:

a) Digital X Bootcamp: 3-Day Digital Marketing & AI Business Workshop;

2.3 The Programme is expected to take place between 19 - 21 May 2025.

2.4 This Scholarship is bond-free. However, BHI and ZGM strongly encourage the Grantee to keep in touch with their fellow Grantees and to pay it forward by mentoring or sharing their experience with future cohorts of Grantees.

2.5 For avoidance of doubt, the Scholarship is in the form of BHI’s sponsorship of the Programme fees, it is not a cash award. BHI does not provide direct financial assistance to the Grantees.

3. APPLICATION PROCESS

3.1 Applicants will typically go through the following application process:

a) Submission of application for Scholarship.

b) ZGM will conduct the initial screening based on the applications received.

c) Successful Applicants will be notified of the award of Scholarship latest by 30 April 2025.

3.2 Application for the Scholarship is open from 21 February 2025 - 24 April 2025. We encourage you to submit your application early for us to meet with you at an earlier date. All late or incomplete applications will not be processed.

3.3 Please submit your application through the online form. 

3.4 Submission of applications does not guarantee any award of scholarship. BHI reserves the right not to award any scholarship if there are no candidates of sufficient merit. The decision of BHI and ZGM is final, all enquiries or appeals regarding eligibility for the Scholarship will not be entertained.

3.5 By submitting your application for the Scholarship, you are deemed to have agreed that upon the award of the Scholarship by BHI:

a) You agree to all terms and conditions contained in the standard Scholarship Agreement, a copy of which will be provided to you upon request; 

b) You agree to and will abide by the terms and conditions of participating in the Programme, a copy of which will be provided to you upon request; and

c) You will sign the Scholarship Agreement to be provided to you within 1 week of the notification of the award of Scholarship.

4. PERSONAL DATA

4.1 BHI and ZGM collect personal data provided by Applicants in their Scholarship application.

4.2 BHI and ZGM shall, where applicable, ensure that it has complied with the prevailing requirements of the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 or other applicable personal data protection laws.

4.3 By submitting any personal data, within the meaning of the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 to BHI and ZGM, the Applicant consents to and authorises, on its own behalf and on behalf of the person to whom the personal data relates, BHI and ZGM to collect and use, and disclose to the necessary third parties, such personal data for the purpose of processing the Scholarship application as well as administering the Scholarship and the Programme.

4.4 The Applicant represents and warrants that it has full authority to give such consent and authorisation on behalf of the person(s) to whom the personal data relates and shall promptly provide BHI and ZGM with evidence of the same if requested.

Commission Terms

i. A Registrant is defined as a Referee who registers for the 2-hour introductory eCom Mastery Webclass through your unique referral link.

ii. If your referral link was not used in the registration process, the Registrant shall be deemed as invalid for commission payout.

iv. Zion Global may verify Registrants by phone call and/or email verification, and Registrants with typographical errors in phone number or email address will be deemed invalid.

v. Commission shall not be entitled for any invalid Registrants as defined above.

vi. The commission is entitled for payout only when phone and/or email verification has been completed by Zion Global.

Commission Terms

vii. A Show-Up is defined as a Registrant who attends the entire 2-hour introductory eCom Mastery Webclass.

viii. The commission is entitled for payout only when Zion Global has verified that the Show-Up has attended the entire Webclass.
